RF Current & BCI Probes, Calibration Fixtures

Clamp on Current probes are used in EMC Testing for Emission and Immunity measurements. They can be used to measure noise emissions using LISN (for power lines) or ISN (for signal lines). These methods require opening the cable to insert the LISN or ISN in the path. However, using a clamp on current probe does not require opening the cable, as it is clamped onto the cable.

BCI & Current Probe Calibration Fixtures

Com-Power's Current Probe and Bulk Current Injection (BCI) Probe Calibration Fixtures are designed to maintain a 50 ohm nominal impedance transmission line with the appropriate probe installed. These fixtures are used for calibration of coupling loss/transfer impedance, test level calibration, and immunity/susceptibility tests using BCI probes. Maintains 50 ohm Nominal Impedance Transmission Line with Probe Installed ,Coupling Loss/Transfer Impedance Calibration ,Test Level Calibration of bulk c

FCLCE-438, FCLCE-452, FCLCE-1032, FCLC-100, FCLC-400

Com-Power's Current Probe and Bulk Current Injection (BCI) Probe Calibration Fixtures are designed to fit the probe's specific physical dimensions and electrical properties. They maintain a nominal 50 ohm transmission line impedance across the frequency range. These fixtures are used for calibration of coupling loss/transfer impedance and test levels for immunity/susceptibility tests.

Bulk Current Injection Probes

Current Injection Probes are used for RF conducted immunity testing, as per IEC 61000-4-6, CISPR 16-1-2, RTCA DO-160, and MIL-STD 461. They inductively couple large amounts of RF current into cables to determine susceptibility. The probe's internal diameter or window must accommodate the cable and wires under test. It incorporates split-core ferrites and is hinged for easy placement. Current probes are calibrated using a coaxial-type arrangement, ensuring transmission line characteristics are no

CLCI-100

The CLCI-100 Bulk Current Injection Probe is a radio frequency conducted immunity test equipment and calibration accessory designed to meet IEC 61000-4-6 and CISPR 16-1-2 requirements. It features a rugged, circular enclosure with split-core ferrites and is hinged for easy testing. The probe can achieve test levels up to 10 Vrms across its frequency band with less than 100 watts forward power.

CLCI-400

a radio frequency conducted immunity test equipment and calibration accessory designed to meet RTA/DO-160F and Mil-Std-461 requirements. It features split-core ferrites and is hinged for easy testing. The probe can achieve test levels up to 10 Vrms across its frequency band with less than 100 watts of forward power. It can handle 100 amps "window current" on its secondary and 100 watts RF input power to its primary.

RF Current Monitor Probes

RF current probes are used to measure asymmetrical disturbance RF currents on wires, cables, or bundles without direct contact with the source conductor. They measure current inductively by clamping the probe around the tested conductors, leaving insulation in place. These probes function as torroidal transformers, with the conductor acting as a single turn primary and the probe as a multiple turn secondary. A calibration fixture is used to calibrate current probes.

CLCE-1032

is a radio frequency conducted emission/immunity test equipment and calibration accessories. It is suitable for compliance measurements and applied current monitoring during immunity tests. The probe features a split-core ferrite in a rugged, circular hinged enclosure, making it more convenient to use. It is designed to be used with a spectrum analyzer, EMI receiver, or any 50Ω impedance measurement equipment to measure magnitude quantities in terms of true rms voltage.

CLCE-332

part of Com-Power's range of radio frequency conducted emission/immunity test equipment and calibration accessories.

CLCE-438

The CLCE-438 is a split-core ferrite probe suitable for compliance measurements and immunity tests. Its rugged, circular hinged enclosure allows easy placement of wires, cables, or bundles. The FCLCE-438 Calibration Fixture (optional) provides a nominal 50Ω transmission line for calibration of Transfer impedance, insertion loss, and VSWR parameters. Individual NIST traceable calibration is performed on each unit, and ISO 17025 accredited calibration is available for an additional charge.
