ISNs - Impedance Stabilization Network

Impedance Stabilization Networks (ISN) are essential for measuring common mode noise on Telecom Cables of Information Technology Equipment (ITE) to meet CISPR 22 and CISPR 32 standards. ISNs are placed in the cable path connecting the equipment under test (EUT) and its support equipment (AE).

ISN / CDN-C50E

The CDN-C50E is an ISN for measuring emissions on 50 Ohms coax cables per EN 55022/32 and is designed for testing products for conducted immunity per IEC/EN 61000-4-6 and CISPR 16-1-2. It has 50 Ohm BNC connectors for EUT and AE power connections, can handle up to 1 Amp of current, and can handle up to 40V of RF input voltage. Com-Power CDNs are individually calibrated and can be purchased separately or as part of the CIS series conducted immunity test system.

ISN / CDN-C75E

The CDN-C75E is an ISN for measuring emissions on 75 Ohms coax cables per EN 55022/32, designed for testing products using 75-Ohm coaxial cables for data communication. It has 75 Ohm BNC connectors for EUT and AE power connections, can handle up to 1 Amp of current, and can handle up to 40V of RF input voltage. The CDN is part of the Com-Power series of Coupling/Decoupling Networks for conducted immunity testing per IEC/EN 61000-4-6 and CISPR 16-1-2 requirements.

ISN / CDN-T8SE

The CDN-T8SE is utilized for conducting emissions or immunity tests on devices with shielded lines, and is suitable for signal/telecom ports with shielded RJ45 receptacles. Its RF input/output port is located on the top side of the network.

ISN-T2

Unshielded Telecom Lines The Com-Power ISN T2 is used for common-mode disturbance voltage measurements on ports with a single, unshielded, balanced pair for Cat. 3 or Cat. 5 cabled networks.

ISN-T8

ISN T8 is for Unshielded Telecom Lines. Its design is based on the circuit illustrated in Figure D.3 of CISPR 22 and Figure F8 of CISPR 32. The RF Port is a 50 Ohm female BNC connector, located on the top of the ISN. The ISN is equipped with two D-sub 25 pin female connectors located on the front panel (EUT Port) and rear panel (AE Port), providing the interface to the LCL Adapter and Connecting Adapter, respectively.
